The ‘standard version’ of RG-2400 and RG-2400 AK did not fit all project requirements (thanks to plant engineering feedback) for temperature serviceability.

We went back to the drawing board and created an entirely new formula which will tolerate the elevated temperatures of steam lines, and hot gas defrost requirements on ammonia refrigeration systems. RG-2400 ET also fills various needs in industrial plants on cyclical systems in process areas.

This modified version applies well even at cold temperatures! It is a slightly different blue color; there was a significant alteration in consistency with the new formulation; application ease was improved with the temperature enhancements. The upper temperature limit of RG-2400 ET is 350°F; it will withstand spikes to 400°F.
