Oil wells containing an annular space between flow pipes and casing can be horrible corrosion sites when any moisture is present. Failure and rupture is a very costly enterprise, with possible EPA fines, and huge cleanup bills.

Polyguard has worked with several entities to develop a special RG-2400 family product. We call it RG-2401.

The product is designed to be pump-able, and with a higher specific gravity and molecular weight than water.

When pumped into the annular space, any water present rises above the RG-2401 as the annular space is filled, being displace by RG-2401 and coating all metal surfaces with corrosion gel as it rises up the well.

The final product is an oil well filled with corrosion inhibiting gel.
