For that reason,
we have tested RG-2400® to make sure it was nontoxic to the environment.

PERFORMANCE TESTING
Polyguard has a number of anti-corrosion
products available. Before we market our products we test each
product to make sure it performs as expected. Below are links

SEA WATER TESTING
The most corrosive
environment is sea water, which is water with an approximate 5% salt
level.
To prove the true
effectiveness of the RG-2400 family of products, we decided to test
it using the most corrosive electrolyte there is, seawater. To make
the test even more difficult to pass, we introduced oxygen to the water
through aeration tubes. And, if that isn’t enough, we decided
to use a very porous, wicking insulation – and submerse it!
So, you have bead
blasted pipes, coated partially with RG-2400, insulated with fiberglass
insulation, submerged in a 5% aerated salt bath. This is the result
you get:
